Director of Human Trafficking Recovery Services

Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery that occurs in every state, including Alaska. The NHTH works closely with service providers, law enforcement, and other professionals in Alaska to serve victims and survivors of trafficking, respond to human trafficking cases, and share information and resources.  Stacie Yates currently lives in Alaska with her six children for the past 18 and she is a survivor of commercial sexual exploitation at the age of 17 in North Carolina.  "I have a deep passion to help girls and boys who fall into the category I did, being a youth needing to do whatever needs to be done to survive.  Yates currently works at MY House as the Director of Human Trafficking Recover Services and ASHTA Coordinator (Alaska Stop Human Trafficking Alliance).
