Sara VanTassel, President of Janicki BioEnergy, spoke with us about septic and clean water issues in developing nations. Her company has engineered machinery that can take any solids (besides large chunks of metal), or liquids and turn it into clean drinking water and ash. The process also creates electricity that can be then sold or distributed to a local populace. The machine is starts with a diesel powered generator, then with several minutes becomes self powered through the energy created from input materials.
